It’s nearly that time again, Valentines Day is almost upon us. A little over a week away and the shops are already decorated with love hearts and everything pink.
I’m not actually big on Valentines but I do love pretty baking equipment.
Some say Valentines is commercial & silly, and to some extent I totally agree. But with how busy we all seem to be it’s also a really nice to remind and show someone that you’re thinking of them. So, if you’re in the mood for embracing it this year then make a fuss of someone who just makes your world that little bit better. It’s the one day where total mushiness is allowed.
If you’re single, I’m sorry, I guess these types of posts suck a bit right? If I were you I’d go find my single friends, get some food & go drink some cocktails. There’s no right or wrong way to celebrate Valentines either. Ignore it or embrace it. Valentine’s Day means different things to different people.
It’s not about how much you spend, but always about the effort and thought you put into it. The thought means so much more. If you’d prefer to bake something then I have this cute heart cake recipe right here.
For those of you that you are into Valentines here’s some cute gifts I’ve pulled together. From baking sets and utensils with a twist, to personalised items for their finished showstopper, hopefully there will be something for your sweet-toothed loved one. And remember, baking gifts for someone mean more baked deliciousness for you. Win-win really.
