Throughout my baking career and blogging experience I have made friends with many different people. These people are hugely inspiring and I quite often chat to them about design ideas, parenting topics, recipes or just to have a bit of a gossip really. Who doesn’t love a bit of spreading the blog love? I, unsurprisingly, love reading blogs, and here are some of my favourites:
Coby George – handsome, clever and super funny (at times)…my darling son has his own YouTube channel which at 12 years is pretty impressive right?
Steve – love amazing coffee? Love travel… take a visit over to Ciao Clark I am a little biased as he is my boyfriend, but his videos are pretty cool!
Lucy Cooper – If you are keen to learn a new cake/cupcake decorating skill then Lucy is your lady! She runs The Cake College over in Arborfield, where I teach, but she has also recently starting blogging too – here she is.
Wendy – I actually met Wendy at the Cake College when she came on one of my classes. Her blog, Naptime Natter, was the first one to get me thinking about expanding mine into the parenting world! She’s super sweet and her posts are always down-to-earth and genuine.
Clickstay – I love Clickstay and as a keen traveller I’m always on the lookout for new places to stay and cool villas to take over. Clickstay offer something a little different to the usual suppliers and they are extremely competitive on pricing too. You can check them out here.
The Cake Decorating Shop – run by the most friendly group of people and you can really rely on them to have anything you want when it comes to cake decorating supplies. The prices are competitive, delivery speedy and ultimately one of my favourite suppliers – THEY ROCK!
Lucy runs Lucy’s Edible Cake Toppers and lives around the corner from me! She is just brilliant at what she does, has a great sense of humour and I wouldn’t be able to get through some late cake evening’s without her! If you ever need a handmade topper she is the place to order from!
Jade is the mastermind behind The Cupcake Company in Kent and she provides gorgeous bespoke stationery and gifts. I had my business cards & flyers (pictured below) designed and produced by Jade and I just love them!
Lauren Drewery – Mrs Connors now (to be precise) is the organisational queen behind Special Days – a unique and original event planning company. I’ve worked with Lauren on numerous weddings and I’ve always known her to be super efficient. Im also a recommend supplier of hers too.
Lou Rodrigues – Lou runs Beyond Vintage, a fantastic company that hires out pretty much anything you can think of! I have recently worked with her on a couple of weddings and just love everything she provides! If I was to get married I would literally book it all! She is my go-to if I ever need help with accessories.
Michelle Lewis – runs the cutest little bakery in Wokingham called Brown Bear Bakery and hosts the most amazing princess parties too! Almost wish I was a kid again so I can have a party there! Michelle is genuine, funny and really down to earth.
